A major renovation too often comes with invasive aesthetic modernization. Here, the goal was to preserve this small house's picturesque, charming character. The insulated exterior draws on a bucolic vocabulary. Inside, moving the bedrooms to the ground floor allows the living room to take advantage of the volume under the roof and an open view over the surrounding countryside.
